After my boudoir shoot in my studio I decided to shoot a few photos of myself to use for this months social media posts. I set up my tripod, gathered some props and commenced shooting. This was not an easy task. I took 155 photos and about 25 were okay. The first ten were completely out of focus. My next problem was what to do. Turns out it is much harder to pose yourself than it is to pose my clients. I finally relaxed, looked into the camera, acted a bit silly and captured some cool shots.

Now the next question was how to use them in my social media? I opened up Adobe Spark Post on my iPad and simply began playing around with the images and text to see what I could design. If you haven’t discovered Adobe Spark you should definitely check it out. It makes designing social media graphics super easy and fun! It is available on IOS, Android and desktop. I made graphics to promote this blog and my Personal Branding Sessions in about 15 minutes. The best part is that you can make a square graphic for Instagram and simply resize it for Pinterest, Facebook or a blog post with one click.
I learned a lot from this session and am already planning outfits and locations for my next shoot. My goal is to do a shoot every month in a different setting, with a different story and level up my branding. I would love to speak with about how to take your business to the next level.
This space is all about photography. Sessions, gear, my photo journeys and me living my best photog life.
