It’s a cold snowy day here in Lawrence and it seemed like the perfect day for some chili. I was chopping the garlic when I noticed all the beautiful textures that were on my cutting board. I grabbed my iPhone 8 Plus and took a few photos then edited them with VSCO app and Lightroom Mobile. I did all this while the chili was coming to a boil. Editing on my iPhone has become so intuitive for me that I rarely edit my mobile photos in Photoshop anymore, which is great! It brings a real spontaneity to my blogging in that I can capture, edit and post images in the moment without having to wait to be on my computer.
From the delicate garlic skin, to the scratchy texture of the top, the color, lines and textures are amazing. The simple elegance of this garlic and is everywhere in our daily lives. I encourage you this weekend to look for something extraordinary in the ordinary.
Have an an amazing weekend!
